Lisa Kann

Lisa Kann has a diverse work experience in the field of laboratory operations and product development. Lisa is currently serving as the VP of Product Development and Strategy at Previse. Prior to this, Lisa held the role of Scientist and Laboratory Professional at an undisclosed company from 2020. Lisa also worked as the Director of Lab Planning and Project Management at Thrive Earlier Detection Corp. from 2019 to 2020. Before that, Lisa served as the Head of Operations at PapGene, Inc. from 2017 to 2019.

Lisa has also worked at Personal Genome Diagnostics as the VP of Laboratory Operations from 2014 to 2017, and as a Scientist from 2011 to 2014. Lisa'searlier roles include serving as Staff Scientist II and Lab Manager at Genzyme Genetics/LabCorp from 2006 to 2011.

Furthermore, Lisa has worked at Exact Sciences as a Principal Scientist from 2000 to 2006, where they managed projects and scientists in the development and validation of DNA-based screening assays for colorectal cancer. Prior to that, they served as the Manager of Core Sequencing at the Whitehead Institute Genome Center from 1998 to 2000.

Lisa began their career as a PostDoc at Brown University from 1993 to 1998.

Lisa Kann completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at Oberlin College from 1983 to 1987. Following that, they pursued their PhD in Oceanography at the University of Rhode Island from 1987 to 1993.
