Austin Brogan has a diverse work experience. Austin began their career in 2013 as a Head Lifeguard/Swim Instructor at Cranford Pool and Fitness Center, where they were responsible for developing daily instructional lesson plans, supervising staff and patrons, and managing customer service. In 2015, they became a Postal Worker at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where they collaborated with coworkers to manage the majority of RIT's mail and parcels. In 2017, they were an UI Test Automation Engineer Intern at Crestron Electronics, where they turned high-level requirements into the design and implementation of an automated UI test suite for integrated audio/visual control-center product. In 2018, they were a Software Engineer at Narwhal Systems, where they were responsible for building back-end microservices for deployment in Kubernetes clusters written in Typescript (JavaScript) using NodeJS and GraphQL. In 2020, they became a Full Stack Engineer at SMP-CORP, where they created a centralized portal using Typescript and React to serve data visualization and integrate with RPA (robotic process automation). Currently, they are a Software Engineer at CaptivateIQ and a Full Stack Engineer at ePlus inc.

Austin Brogan attended Cranford High School from 2011 to 2015, where they earned their High School Diploma. Austin then attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, a Minor in Software Engineering, and a Minor in Business Administration and Management, General.
