In this role, they provided 401(k) participant enrollment, financial education, and communication projects. Dr. Debra also conducted one-on-one consultations and holistic financial wellness reviews, achieving high survey result ratings. Dr. Gates consulted with Fortune 500 clients on strategic savings and retirement investments.

Dr. Debra Gates, CRPC®, CFEI has an extensive education history. Dr. Debra obtained their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree with a focus on Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology between 2014 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Certified Retirement Planning Consultant (CRPC) program at the College for Financial Planning in 2008, specializing in Financial Planning and Services. In 2003, they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Dr. Debra'seducational journey began at the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from 1989 to 1991.

In addition to their degrees, Dr. Debra Gates has also acquired various certifications. Dr. Debra earned the Certified Financial Education Instructor designation from the National Financial Educators Council in December 2020.
