Samantha Thorne

Samantha Thorne has a range of work experience in the insurance industry. Samantha started their career as a Claims Adjuster at Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies, managing a case of workers' compensation claims. Samantha then moved into a role as a Claims Assistant Supervisor, where they supervised a team and implemented new policies for claims handling. Samantha also worked as a Claims Research Professional, maintaining internal resources and conducting research for the claims staff. Samantha later became an Electronic Data Interchange Coordinator, overseeing the transition to automated filing processes. In their most recent role at Hunter Contracting Co., Samantha served as a Claims & Safety Administrator, overseeing all claims incurred by the company and finding resolutions in an efficient and timely manner. Currently, Samantha holds the position of Senior Tax Operations Associate at CAPTRUST.

Samantha Thorne obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Morningside University. Samantha pursued their education at the university from 2005 to 2010.
