Anupam Tiwari has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. From 2022 to present, they have been an Engineer at Capture6, where they are responsible for developing engineering designs and models, financial performance models, and business proposals for integrating carbon removal technologies into industrial systems. They also investigate industrial synergies between carbon removal technologies and various industrial processes.
Prior to that, from 2016 to 2022, Anupam worked at the State Historical Society of Iowa as a Library Associate. In this role, they managed design efforts in the construction of new database architectures to improve accessibility and usability of archival collections related to Iowa history. They also led efforts to organize backlogged acquisitions to make materials more accessible to the public. Before this role, they worked as an Archival Assistant.
From 2016 to 2021, Anupam was a Research Assistant in the Martin Research Group at the University of Iowa Health Care. They worked alongside clinical researchers in developing novel drugs, delivery mechanisms, and surgical methods aimed at treating and improving outcomes for patients with osteoarthritis and following orthopedic procedures.
Anupam also has experience at Northwestern University, where they worked as a Student Research Assistant in the Industrial Sustainability Analysis Laboratory. They conducted research on decarbonization potential in the cement and concrete industries, focusing on chemistry and engineering advances. They also worked as a Student Library Assistant in the Government and Geographic Information Collection, updating record keeping practices and cataloging acquisitions.
Additionally, Anupam had a Geophysics Internship at the Iowa Geological Survey in 2019. They assisted in geologic monitoring efforts and provided support to the Iowa Department of Transportation in mapping sinkholes near highway infrastructure.
Lastly, Anupam worked as a Sales Floor Team Member at Target in 2016.
Anupam Tiwari completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering along with Economics from Northwestern University from 2016 to 2020. Following that, Anupam pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemical Engineering at Purdue University from 2021 to 2022.
