Ervin Kallfa has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries.
Starting in 2013, Ervin conducted field research in Albania, Kosovo, and Macedonia to monitor and investigate the implementation of development reforms. During this time, they created databases of collected information and wrote extensive evaluation reports.
From 2016 to 2019, Ervin worked as a Data and Evaluation Manager at Urban Upbound. Ervin managed the adoption of a new database system and improved data reporting and integration for the organization's various programs. In addition, Ervin created and managed analytical instruments to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the return on investment (ROI) for the programs. Ervin also collaborated with program directors to integrate data-derived insights into service delivery.
In 2019, Ervin joined ADCO Electrical Corp. as a Data and Analytics Manager. Ervin worked closely with the C-suite to integrate data-derived insights into business decision-making. Ervin provided data, defined metrics, and built visualizations of key business indicators, resulting in increased access to actionable information and facilitated predictive analytics.
From 2020 to 2023, Ervin served as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer at Medidata Solutions. In this role, they led the end-to-end development of a single source of truth on engineering metrics, resulting in highly customizable data sets used to track KPIs and conduct predictive analytics. Ervin also vetted analytical tools to enhance data analysis capabilities.
Since 2023, Ervin has been working as a Data Scientist at CAQH, where they apply their expertise in data science to contribute to the organization's goals.
Ervin Kallfa completed their education history with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Political Science and Government from CUNY Graduate Center in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Marymount Manhattan College in 2005. In addition to their formal education, Ervin Kallfa also obtained a certification in "DAT220x: Delivering a Data Warehouse in the Cloud" from edX in December 2019.
