Kristine Nograles

Vice President, Clinical Development at Cara Therapeutics

Kristine Nograles has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and medical field. Kristine is currently working as the SVP of Clinical Development at Apogee Therapeutics since 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Clinical Development at Cara Therapeutics from 2019 to 2023. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as the Vice President and Head of Dermatology and Rheumatology at Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd.

Kristine also has experience at Celgene, where they served as the Executive Director of Clinical R&D from 2014 to 2018 and as the Senior Director of Clinical R&D, Immunology and Inflammation from 2013 to 2014. Before Celgene, they worked at Merck as the Director/Associate Director of Clinical Research, Immunology from 2010 to 2013.

Their earlier career includes roles at Rockefeller University as an Instructor in Clinical Investigation, Dermatology, and as an Associate Attending Physician from 2007 to 2010. Kristine was also an Associate Faculty Member of Dermatology at Faculty of 1000 Ltd during the same period. Prior to that, they were a Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, NCI, Dermatology Branch from 2005 to 2007.

Kristine began their career as a Clinical Instructor and later as Chief Resident at Skin and Cancer Foundation from 2002 to 2005. Kristine started their medical journey with an internship at the Philippine General Hospital from 1998 to 1999.

Kristine Nograles holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Investigation from The Rockefeller University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they pursued Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery at Skin and Cancer Foundation from 2000 to 2002. In 1999, they completed their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of the Philippines, where they also earned a B.S in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from 1990 to 1994. Kristine completed their high school education at Philippine Science High School from 1986 to 1990.
