Stephen O’Connor

Stephen O'Connor has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Stephen has been with Cara Therapeutics since 2007 and currently holds the position of Vice President CMC Technical Operations. Prior to this role, they served as Executive Director, Senior Director, Director, and Associate Director in various chemistry research and CMC positions within the company. Before joining Cara Therapeutics, Stephen worked at Bayer as a Senior Global Project Manager and Associate Director of Chemistry. Stephen also attended Gordon Research Conferences as an attendee. Stephen'scareer in the pharmaceutical industry began at Abbott Laboratories where they worked as a Medicinal Chemist.

Stephen O'Connor completed their PhD in Chemistry at Brown University from 1986 to 1991.
