Tim Ruffner

Tim Ruffner has a diverse background in the 3D printing industry. Tim is currently the Director of Business Development - Americas at Caracol AM, a company that provides technology and manufacturing solutions for various sectors including aerospace, automotive, energy, and marine. Prior to their current role, Tim served as the President of 3D Printing and Production and as the Director of North America - LATAM - Sales at BigRep GmbH, where they focused on selling large-scale 3D printers. Tim also held positions at Rapid Axis, where they worked as a Technical Sales Manager, and at Rapidia, where they served as the Head of North American Sales. Tim has a solid background in the industry, having worked in companies such as Dynamism Inc, RIZE Inc., Desktop Metal, Concept Laser Inc, and Star Prototype.

Tim Ruffner attended Round Lake High School from 1995 to 1999, where they pursued a Diploma in Computer Aided Design. Following this, they enrolled at the College of Lake County from 1998 to 2000, focusing on AutoCAD and earning a TECH degree.
