Loic Wauters is an experienced Embedded System Engineer with a strong background in medical device development. Currently, Loic Wauters is employed at Caranx Medical since June 2022, focusing on wearable neurostimulator devices, including system architecture and low-power hardware design. Previous positions include Embedded Software Engineer at Oticon Medical and Embedded System Engineer at AXONIC, where Loic Wauters worked on active implantable medical devices and neurostimulation platforms. Prior experience includes a role at Obelia, developing technical specifications and VHDL packages for neurostimulation devices, and earlier work at MXM/STERLAB, where Loic Wauters developed embedded electronic sterilization controllers. Loic Wauters holds a Master 2 degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, and Microelectronics from Université Côte d'Azur.
