Matthias Koerner

Matthias Koerner has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Matthias is currently serving as a Project Manager Development Programs at CARBOGEN AMCIS since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a CMC consultant at NANDASI Pharma Advisors GmbH from October 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining NANDASI Pharma Advisors, Matthias worked at F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. for a significant period. Matthias held multiple roles during their tenure, including Lab Head Process Research from January 2015 to February 2022, and Lab Head Medicinal Chemistry from September 2007 to December 2014. In these roles, they were responsible for various aspects such as developing manufacturing routes, ensuring process safety and SHE compliance, coordinating supply campaigns, and leading chemistry teams for clinical and pre-clinical projects.

Matthias also gained experience at Roche Diagnostics, where they worked as a Medicinal Chemist from September 1999 to August 2007. In this role, they contributed to MedChem efforts in multiple oncology projects, serving as project leader for HDAC inhibitor and FAK inhibitor projects.

Matthias Koerner pursued a Post Doc degree in Chemistry at the University of Oxford from 1998 to 1999. After that, they attended Leipzig University, although the specific details of their degree and field of study at Leipzig University are unknown.
