Ctsm Samantha Nelson

Samantha Nelson, CTSM, has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Samantha began their career as a Receptionist at the Assistant United States Attorney's Office, where they provided administrative support to attorneys. Samantha then took on the role of Beauty Advisor at Lancome, focusing on customer service and sales.

Samantha then transitioned to the role of Graphic Artist at Allegra Print & Imaging, using their creativity to design graphics. Samantha then joined CEVA SANTE ANIMALE as an Executive Assistant, supporting executives in travel booking, presentations, and sales reporting. Samantha was recognized for successfully organizing a time-limited meeting to merge two companies.

At Kassin & Carrow, LLC, Samantha worked as a Legal Assistant, providing assistance in legal matters. Samantha later joined Eaton as an Executive Administrative Assistant, supporting top executives and managing international and domestic travel. Samantha also executed financial analysis and sales reports.

During their time at Eaton, Samantha also served as a Marketing Coordinator, where they led efforts in rebranding product packages and collateral. Samantha then became a Marketing Specialist, organizing and supporting trade show activities and managing trade show displays.

Most recently, Samantha worked as a Corporate Event Planner at Carboline, responsible for planning and executing tradeshows, events, and training sessions. Samantha also designed and managed tradeshow graphics and booth structures.

Throughout their career, Samantha has demonstrated strong organizational, creative, and project management skills, along with a drive for achieving goals and providing exceptional customer service.

Samantha Nelson, CTSM, earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Graphics from Southeast Missouri State University, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. In addition to their degree, Samantha has obtained additional certifications. In March 2023, they became a Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) through EXHIBITOR in affiliation with Northern Illinois University Outreach. Prior to this, in August 2020, they completed a certification in Virtual Event & Meeting Management from the Event Leadership Institute.
