Josh Franklin

Josh Franklin has worked for several companies across the renewable energy, finance, retail, and technology industries. Josh is currently the CEO of Carbon Blade DAC since 2022. Prior to this, they served as Member Board Of Directors at Primo Energy Inc. from 2018 to 2022, worked as the Chief Development Officer (CDO) at Progression Energy from 2019 to 2020, and held the position of Renewable Energy at BayWa r.e. Wind, LLC from 2016 to 2018. Before their career in renewable energy, Josh participated in various leadership rotational programs at DTE Energy, worked as an Interdisciplinary Product Development specialist at Dell Inc, a Print Production Specialist at Konica Minolta Business Solutions USA, and a Mortgage Banker at Originate Home Loans. Josh began their career as a Junior Trader for Mako Global Derivatives in 2003 and later worked as Retail Manager, Retail Department at Bally Total Fitness from 1999 to 2005.

Josh Franklin earned an MBA degree in Finance and Accounting from the Liautaud Graduate School of Business at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2010. Josh'sprior educational background is unknown, but they attended Cornwall College at an undisclosed time and did not earn a degree. In 2012, they obtained a Yellow Belt certification in Six Sigma, and it is unclear if they also obtained a Green Belt certification. The institution from which they obtained these certifications is unknown.
