Daniel D. Droog is an accomplished legal and business professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Since January 2013, Daniel has held multiple leadership roles at Chevron, currently serving as Vice President of New Energies Business Development and previously as Vice President of Energy Transition and Senior Managing Counsel for Strategy & Policy. In addition, Daniel is a board member at Carbon Clean and the Center for Houston's Future. Prior to Chevron, Daniel was a partner at Shipley Snell Montgomery Droog LLP and served as an associate at Baker Botts LLP. Daniel began a legal career as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Harold R. DeMoss Jr. at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Daniel holds a Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Dordt University.
