Andrew Ostericher

Andrew Ostericher, PhD, has extensive work experience in various industries. Andrew currently holds the position of Director of Technology Development at Carbon Engineering Ltd., where they started in October 2022. Prior to this role, they served as an Advanced Development Engineer at the same company from August 2019.

Before joining Carbon Engineering Ltd., Andrew was a PhD Candidate at the University of California San Diego from August 2015 to August 2019. Andrew gained experience as a Distiller at WESTLAND DISTILLERY from March 2014 to July 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant at NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration from June 2010 to August 2011.

Andrew Ostericher holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Inorganic Chemistry from UC San Diego, which they pursued from 2015 to 2019. Prior to this, they completed their MSc in Inorganic Chemistry at Freie Universität Berlin from 2011 to 2013. Andrew began their academic journey by obtaining a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Washington between 2007 and 2011. In 2008 and 2009, they also spent some time at Universidad de Granada.
