Siwei Luo

Siwei Luo is a computational engineer and data scientist with experience working at Sapientai LLC from October 2020 to December 2021 and as a research assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago from August 2015 to August 2020. Siwei has a PhD in Physics from the University of Illinois Chicago and an MS in Physics from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. During their time as a research assistant, Siwei calculated and studied the probability density function of J/psi polarization and contributed to silicon detector maintenance and data collection for the STAR collaboration at Brookhaven National Laboratory.
