Adam Hillier

Adam Hillier is a founder of AquaTerra, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with a passion for nature to conduct environmental monitoring surveys using advanced technology. Currently serving as a Community Scientist at the University of Hertfordshire's Bayfordbury Life Science Field Station, Adam leads a project exploring DNA analysis for citizen science in ecological monitoring. Adam also volunteers with the Woodland Trust at Heartwood Forest and the Countryside Management Service, while mentoring startups through Carbon13, Third Derivative, and Unreasonable. With previous leadership roles at Shell focusing on digital technology partnerships and computational analytics, Adam holds a Master's Degree in Petroleum Geoscience from Imperial College London and a Bachelor's Degree in Geology and Geophysics from Durham University.
