Bryan Shieh

Bryan Shieh has extensive experience in engineering and operations within the technology sector, currently serving as Director of Operations Engineering, Director of Production Solutions, and Head of DLS Production at Carbon since July 2016. Prior to Carbon, Bryan worked at Pacific Biosciences from July 2009 to June 2016, holding positions as Staff Engineer in Research and Development and Lead Engineer in Instrument Manufacturing, where Bryan led interdisciplinary teams and managed mechanical engineering projects. Earlier experience includes working as a Manufacturing Design Engineer at KLA-Tencor from June 2006 to July 2009. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
