Mitja Resman has had a long and varied career in the technology field. Mitja began their career in 2004 as a student at Telekom Slovenije, where they worked with ISDN, ADSL, and other technologies. In 2006, they began working as a Network Admin at Logina d.o.o. and as a Support/Technical Assistance Centre/Service Centre at Smart Com d.o.o. In 2008, they moved to SRC d.o.o., where they worked as a Systems Engineer managing 200+ Linux servers. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Engineer at LIT Transit, where they worked with Linux (CentOS, RHEL, Ubuntu), Windows (Server 2008, Server 2010, Server 2012, Server 2016), PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and MySQL/MariaDB. In 2020, they began working as a Site Reliability Engineer at Seller.Tools, where they worked with Linux (primarily Ubuntu), MacOS, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, InfluxDB, DigitalOcean, AWS, Nginx, HAproxy, Grafana, Kibana, Metabase, Jamf/Fleetsmith, Docker, Gitlab, Terraform, Ansible, Redis, and RabbitMQ. Finally, they are currently working as a Site Reliability Engineer at Carbon6 Technologies.

Mitja Resman obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Telecommunications from Univerza v Ljubljani between 2002 and 2012. Mitja also graduated from Gimnazija Novo mesto in High School. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from the Scrum Alliance in June 2019, a RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) from Red Hat in September 2011, a RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) from Red Hat in June 2011, an LPIC-1 from the Linux Professional Institute in December 2008, an LPIC-2 from the Linux Professional Institute in August 2009, an ITIL V3 Foundation from ITIL Foundation, a Novell Certified Linux Administrator (SLES 11) from Novell, and a Novell Data Center Technical Specialist from Novell.
