Dustin Zimmer

Dustin’s love of the outdoors took shape in the Enchanted Mountains of New York’s Southern Tier region. He grew up exploring the creeks and hillsides around his home before heading off to Niagara University. There he worked in the campus television studio while majoring in communications and earning a minor in marketing.

After college Dustin spent five years working at a Buffalo, NY television news station creating on-air and online content. From there he spent eight years doing digital marketing and content publication for an online news service.

Dustin’s role at Carbonfund.org is to help drive engagement through online blogs, social media traffic, e-mail newsletters and any special project that comes along. He is spreading brand awareness through customized digital content creation and targeted search engine optimization.
