Tony P.

Tony P. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Tony began their career in 2000 as a Development Team Lead at MobileQ. From 2003 to 2012, they worked at PlateSpin Ltd as a Co-Founder and Senior Manager of Software Engineering, leading the successful delivery of various products in the PlateSpin product line. In 2012, they joined EVault, A Seagate Company as a Senior Manager of Software Development, where they played a key role in the successful launch of a scaleout solution for Backup and Recovery. Since 2016, Tony has been working at Carbonite, initially as a Senior Manager of Software Engineering and currently as a Director of Software Engineering.

Tony P. has a strong educational background in the field of computer science. Tony obtained their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Applied Computer Science from Ryerson University, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. After completing their undergraduate degree, Tony went on to pursue further studies at the University of Guelph. Tony earned their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computing and Information Science from 1990 to 1993.

In addition to their academic achievements, Tony P. has also obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in 2009.
