Sumon Roy

Sumon Roy currently serves as the General Manager & Business Head for the MENA Region at Carborundum Universal Limited since February 2018, overseeing business growth across multiple sectors including abrasives and refractories. With a strong foundation in management, Roy is also a life member of the All India Management Association and the Institute Of Directors, India, contributing to the Sales Excellence program. Prior to this role, Roy held several key positions, including Export Manager at fischer Fixings Middle East and Regional Cross Selling Project Coordinator at Bosch Limited, demonstrating a consistent track record of driving business growth and developing new market strategies. Roy holds an MBA in Marketing and System from the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, along with a BE in Industrial Engineering & Management from Bangalore University.
