Jessica Spence

Jessica Spence has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jessica currently holds the position of Commercial Finance Director at Card Factory, a role they have been in since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Commercial Finance Manager at the same company from August 2019 to July 2022. Before joining Card Factory, Jessica served as the Commercial Finance Director - Hotels at Splendid Hospitality Group from September 2017 to July 2019. Jessica also worked as the Head of Retail Finance at Costcutter Supermarkets Group Limited from December 2013 to September 2017. Jessica began their career at engage Mutual Assurance, where they held the roles of Group Management Accountant from August 2009 to January 2013, and Commercial Controller from June 2007 to August 2009. Jessica also worked as a Business Development Manager at Asda in 2013 and as a Business Analyst at Hallmark Cards from April 2005 to June 2007.

Jessica Spence attended the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants from 2004 to 2008, where they studied accounting. From 2009 to 2011, they pursued an MBA at The Open University. Earlier in their education, from 2000 to 2003, they completed a degree in accounting at Cardiff University. In 2022, they enrolled at OCM Educate to pursue a Coaching Professional - Level 5 certification, which they completed in 2023. Currently, they are studying at The Open University for a Bachelor of Arts degree, specializing in Philosophy and Psychological Studies, which they expect to complete in 2029.
