Egils Jakovels

Egils Jakovels is an experienced data engineer currently employed at Matrixify since October 2022, while also working as a freelancer for the Cardano Community on an algorithmic 3D art project. Previously, Egils served as Chief Information Officer at AGROLATS Holding from August 2009 to November 2021, and held key positions such as Chairman of the Board at Agrora SIA from March 2017 to December 2020 and Agrofeed SIA from October 2013 to September 2019. Earlier roles included various leadership positions in major Latvian banks, including Area Development Manager at Swedbank Latvija and Head of Product and Service Development at Parex Bank. Egils began a career in IT security at Zemes Banka in 1998 and holds a degree in Programming and Mathematics from Riga Industrial Polytechnic School.
