Marc Kates

Marc Kates is a seasoned cardiologist and medical director with extensive experience in cardiovascular services. Currently serving as a Board Member at Banner West Valley Cardiology LLC since March 2021, Marc Kates also holds the position of Cardiologist at Cardiac Solutions since January 2013. At Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, Marc Kates has been the Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Service Line and Chairman of the Department of Cardiology since 2006. Previous roles include Medical Director of Cardiology at Lifecare of North Glendale, HealthSouth, and Medical Director positions at CVC (Heart Failure Clinic and Research) and Cardiovascular Consultants. Marc Kates earned a DO in Osteopathic Medicine from Ochsner Medical Center and a BS in Biology from the University of Arizona.
