Chris Duffy McIpr

Chris Duffy MCIPR has a diverse work experience. From 2014 to the present, they have worked as a Commercial Business Partner at Cardiff and Vale College, where they manage relationships with professional bodies and stakeholder forums, leads partnership development, and engages in sponsorship procurement and business development. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Business Development Consultant, working with organizations in creative industries and the hospitality sector to identify training needs and develop long-term collaborative partnerships. Prior to that, from 1995 to 2014, they were the Founder of 10 Four PR & Sponsorship, where they provided PR and sponsorship consultancy services for clients in both the public and private sectors. Chris has also worked with Newport City Council as a Sponsorship Consultant and founded 10 Four Associates, offering PR and marketing solutions and specializing in sponsorship and partnership consultancy services. In 2013, they worked as a Partnership Manager at the Office for National Statistics, creating a National Collaborative Associate Program. Earlier, from 2005 to 2007, they were the Sponsorship & Partnership Manager at Cardiff Council, overseeing sponsorship procurement for major events. Additionally, they have a music industry background as a songwriter/performer and worked as a recording artist and performer at Polydor Records.

Chris Duffy MCIPR attended Howardian High School and completed A Level Art Design. They then attended Cardiff and Vale College in 2018 and 2019, where they obtained a certificate in ILM Level 5 Leadership & Management. They also obtained a certificate in ILM Level 5 Effective Leadership, specializing in Leadership and Management. Additionally, they hold Full Membership from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and Full Membership from the Performance Rights Society.
