Kevin Gibbins

Kevin Gibbins is an experienced sports performance professional currently serving as the Head of Performance at Cardiff City Football Club since June 2025. Previously, Kevin held the positions of Assistant Head Coach & Head of Performance Services and Head of Football Science & Performance at Rochdale Association Football Club from June 2019 to June 2025. Additionally, Kevin was the First Team Fitness & Conditioning Coach at Wigan Athletic F.C. for a year. Prior to that, Kevin contributed to Rochdale Association Football Club as Head of Football Science and Lead Academy Sport Scientist from January 2013 to June 2018, alongside an earlier tenure at the club as a footballer from July 2002 to January 2006. Kevin holds a Master of Science in Sports Physiology from Liverpool John Moores University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Sports Science (Human Performance) from The University of Salford.
