Micaela Panes

Micaela Panes serves as the Director of Cardiff Union Services Limited, Vice-President for Postgraduate Students, and Director and Trustee at Cardiff Students' Union since July 2023. In an earlier role as Coordinator of Volunteers at Cardiff University, Micaela recruited and coordinated Undergraduate volunteers and developed workshops for the outreach project 'SHARE with Schools.' Micaela has experience as a Graduate Tutor for GW4 Alliance and as a Research Assistant at Cardiff University, where responsibilities included serving as Editor-in-Chief and Journal Manager for the SHARE eJournal. Previous positions held include Customer Service Agent at Legal & General and various retail roles at Skechers, LUSH, Harvester, and TK MAXX. Micaela is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in History and Welsh History at Cardiff University, holding both a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the same institution, along with A Levels from Coleg y Cymoedd.
