Anya Tober

Anya Tober is a dedicated researcher currently pursuing a PhD at Cardiff University, focusing on the epidemiology of sub-Saharan African wildlife, digenean parasites, buffalo, and landscape genomics. Previous experience includes a role as Senior Research Technician at the West of England Nature Partnership, where Anya developed case studies on green infrastructure, and as an Ecological Research Assistant at the University of Bristol, conducting pollinator surveys. Anya also completed a One Health Master's program at the Royal Veterinary College, emphasizing the interconnectedness of humans, animals, and the environment. Early career experiences include conservation efforts with Global Vision International and undergraduate research on the parasite fauna of water monitor lizards at Danau Girang Field Centre, complemented by a first-class Bachelor's degree in Biology from Cardiff University.
