Diego Alonso Álvarez is an experienced research software engineer and academic currently serving as the Head of Research Software Engineering at Imperial College London since January 2013, where responsibilities have included team leadership and advanced research in photovoltaics, specifically focusing on low emissivity coatings and hybrid PV-thermal applications.
