Fang Xiao

Fang Xiao currently serves as a Teacher in Chinese Language and Teacher Trainer at Cardiff University/Prifysgol Caerdydd, where responsibilities include providing teacher training and mentoring as well as teaching Chinese courses under the Wales China Schools Project. Additionally, Fang holds a position as a Teacher of Mandarin at Cardiff Sixth Form College, instructing IGCSE and A-Level Chinese courses for international students aged 14-18. Other roles include serving as an IGCSE/AS/A-Level Chinese Examiner and book reviewer for Cambridge Assessment International Education, and leading teacher training and consultancy as the Director of Excellence Teacher Education Academy. Fang has also contributed to Pearson as an Edexcel GCE A-Level/GCSE Examiner, co-founded Gogolearning Teachers’ Academy, and has experience with K-12 education as an Education Coordinator and Mandarin Teacher at New Beacon Group. An extensive educational background includes a Master’s degree from the University of Warwick and a PGCE from Goldsmiths, University of London, along with ongoing studies at IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society.
