John Evans

John E. has extensive experience in academic management and research, currently serving as the School Manager for the School of Computer Science & Informatics at Cardiff University since January 2005. In this role, John E. is responsible for strategy development, financial planning, and policy implementation, along with operations management covering marketing, health and safety, and academic support. Previously, John E. held various roles at Cardiff University, including Planning Officer and Project Manager, and has a solid academic background with research positions at the University of St Andrews and Durham University. John E. holds a PhD in Geology from UCL, an MSc in Geology from the University of Southampton, and a BSc in Geography and Geology from Keele University, complemented by an International Baccalaureate from the United World College of the Atlantic.
