Michael Paradowski

Michael Paradowski is a Senior Research Fellow and Operational Lead at the Medicines Discovery Institute, Cardiff University, since March 2018, focusing on developing novel drugs for neuroscience, cancer, and infection and immunity. Previously, from June 2011 to February 2018, Michael served as a Laboratory Leader and Research Fellow in Medicinal Chemistry at the Sussex Drug Discovery Centre, where responsibilities included establishing the chemistry laboratories. Prior to this, from August 1997 to June 2011, Michael held the position of Principal Scientist - Project Synthetic Leader at Pfizer, overseeing synthetic route design and project management across multiple therapeutic areas. Michael's early career included a role as a Research Chemist at 3M Pharmaceuticals. Michael holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Sussex and additional certifications in occupational safety and organic chemistry from various institutions.
