Sushmita Mohapatra

Sushmita Mohapatra is an experienced professional in the fields of health care and academia, currently serving as an Honorary Research Associate at Cardiff University since March 2024. Sushmita also acts as a Consultant Therapist for Stroke at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board and has held the position of Lecturer and MSc Year Lead at Brunel University London since February 2019. In addition, Sushmita has been a Specialist Advisor for the Care Quality Commission and a Program Manager at Reach Personal Injury since 2014. Previously, Sushmita served as Clinical Lead Therapist at Barts Health NHS Trust and Clinical Lead for Stroke and Neuro Rehabilitation at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Stroke Rehabilitation from the University of Nottingham and a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice from Brunel University London, among other degrees in Occupational Therapy and Health Management.
