Yulia Cherdantseva

Yulia Cherdantseva serves as the Director of the Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Education and Co-Director of the Digital Transformation University Innovation Institute at Cardiff University since August 2022. Previously, Yulia was a Lecturer at the National Software Academy from October 2016 to August 2021, teaching various modules in Applied Software Engineering. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Associate focused on risk assessment and secure business process modeling and a PhD Research Student specializing in Information Security and Assurance. Yulia's professional journey began as a Software Developer at Propona Ltd, following a tenure as Personnel and Advertising Manager at Almaz-Holding. Yulia holds a PhD in Information Security with an emphasis on Business Process Modelling from Cardiff University. Research interests encompass various aspects of information security, conceptual models, business process modeling, and security integration.
