Jeremy Schaefer

Jeremy Schaefer's work experience begins in 2005 as a Sheet Metal Worker and Aircraft Assembler at American Champion Aircraft. In 2010, they become an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, studying stem cell fusion with cardiomyocytes. From 2011 to 2016, Jeremy serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota, focusing on developing a vascularized 'heart patch' using induced pluripotent stem cells. In 2016, they join AtriCure, Inc. as a Contract Biomedical Engineer, a role they hold until 2018. Jeremy then moves on to Cardionomic, Inc., where they initially work as an Engineer II starting in 2018 and later becomes a Senior Research Scientist in 2019. No end dates are provided for their most recent positions.

Jeremy Schaefer has a strong educational background in the field of Biomedical Engineering. Jeremy obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, Jeremy completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, from 2006 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Jeremy Schaefer also holds a certification as a Certified Solidworks Associate (CSWA), which they obtained from Solidworks in December 2014.
