Dr. Janika Viereck

Dr. Janika Viereck has worked for a variety of organizations since 2009. Dr. Janika began their career as a Research Associate (B.Sc.) at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research in 2009. Dr. Janika then worked as a Research Associate (M.Sc.) at the same organization in 2011. That same year, they also worked as a Corporate Accounting and Tax employee at Celesio AG. From 2012 to 2017, Dr. Viereck worked at the Hannover Medical School, first as a Research Assistant (PhD student) and then as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. In 2017, they began working at Cardior Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Scientist, and was later promoted to R&D Manager and then to Head Of Research And Development.

Dr. Janika Viereck has a long and distinguished educational history. Dr. Janika earned a Diploma in Journalism from the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt between 2003 and 2006. Dr. Janika then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the Technische Universität Braunschweig between 2006 and 2009, followed by a Master of Science in Biotechnology from the same school between 2009 and 2011. Finally, they earned a Doktor (Ph.D.) in Regenerative Sciences from the Hannover Biomedical Research School between 2012 and 2015.
