Carlo Coppola

Carlo Coppola is an experienced professional in the field of sterilization science and medical device development, currently serving as Associate Director of Sterilization Science and Director of the Nordion Gamma Centre of Excellence since September 2011. Carlo oversees the irradiation service operations, expands research and development efforts, manages customer contracts, and ensures compliance with various quality standards including cGMP, ISO, FDA, CNSC, CFIA, and Controlled Drug Substance, in addition to budget management. Prior to this, Carlo held multiple roles at Jubilant DRAXIMAGE from 1995 to 2011, including Manager of Development and Validation, Manufacturing Project Coordinator, ISO Coordinator, and Supervisor for the BrachySeed™ project. Carlo began the professional journey at Bio-Research Laboratories as a Laboratory Technician from 1989 to 1995. Carlo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from McGill University.
