Moez Karoui

Moez Karoui has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical and healthcare industry. Moez has held various roles in different companies, focusing on developing innovative medical software and solutions.

In their most recent role as the VP Medical Software at CardioRenal starting in 2022, Moez led the development of cutting-edge medical software in the Cardiovascular Disease and Chronic Kidney Disease space. Moez collaborated with cross-functional teams and drove strategic initiatives, resulting in the successful execution of a clinical trial program and the launch of a novel software platform.

Prior to that, Moez worked as a Product Manager at BioSerenity from 2021 to 2022, where they deployed new applications and implemented workflows for patient monitoring and management. Moez also analyzed metrics to measure product performance and communicated effectively with team members.

From 2018 to 2021, Moez served as a Product Owner at CardioRenal, where they utilized their medical and biomedical engineering skills in managing a health cloud product. Moez was responsible for improving the quality of life and treatment for heart failure and renal failure patients.

In 2018, Moez worked as a Health Innovation Manager at Trois Prime, where they designed an application for the detection of concussions in professional athletes and a cloud solution for assessing vascular status on ocular tomography images.

Earlier in their career, Moez worked as a Medical Advisor at the centre d'investigation Clinique plurithématique - CHRU Brabois, where they were responsible for the deployment of a patient pre-screening assistance solution for clinical studies.

Moez also gained experience as a MedTech Project Manager during their freelance/consultancy period from 2015 to 2016, where they led development teams and analyzed business and technical requirements for client projects.

Lastly, Moez started their career as a Medical Intern at the University Hospitals of Tunis from 2013 to 2015.

Moez Karoui completed their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of Tunis El Manar between 2008 and 2016, specializing in the field of Medicine. In 2016, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Universite de Lorraine, which they finished in 2017. Following this, in 2017 and 2018, Moez attended Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) to obtain a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering.

In addition to their academic degrees, Moez Karoui has obtained various certifications. In June 2011, they received certification in imagery Engineering from Autodesk. In 2019, they obtained three certifications from CITI Program, A Division of BRANY, including Biomedical Research Investigators, Data or Specimens Only Research, and GCP for Clinical Trials with Investigational Drugs and Medical Devices (U.S. FDA Focus). Lastly, Moez holds an edX Verified Certificate for Computer Graphics, although the specific details of when they obtained this certification are not provided.
