Babak Sohizad

Babak Sohizad, MPH has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Babak is currently working as the Senior Director of Growth Strategy at Cardiovascular Associates of America since April 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Growth Strategy at Novocardia starting from January 2022. Babak also worked as the Associate Director of New Markets & Growth at ChenMed from January 2021 to January 2022. Additionally, Babak served in various roles at Lumeris, including Director of Advisory Solutions from October 2020 to January 2021 and Manager of Advisory Solutions from December 2018 to October 2020. Before that, they worked as a Strategy Management Consultant at HealthScape Advisors LLC from May 2016 to December 2018, and as a Management Consultant at Crowe Horwath LLP from January 2014 to May 2016. Babak has also gained experience in the healthcare industry as an Infection Prevention/Epidemiology professional at Sparrow Health System from November 2010 to December 2013. Babak has also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Michigan State University in 2012 and as a Research Assistant at the Michigan Biotechnology Institute and Michigan State University in 2009.

Babak Sohizad, MPH holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management. Babak also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Michigan State University. Additionally, while in high school, they were dual-enrolled at the University of Michigan. Babak completed their secondary education at Novi High School.
