Marco Masotto

Marco Masotto has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Marco is currently the Director of Strategy at CARDO AI, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Securitization Platform - Product Owner at CARDO AI from July 2020 to August 2022.

Before joining CARDO AI, Marco worked at Mediobanca for a significant period. Marco held various positions during their time at Mediobanca, including Director - London Branch Business Manager from September 2018 to March 2020, Director - CPM (Credit Portfolio Management) from September 2011 to September 2018, and Associate - Debt Origination from February 2007 to September 2011. In these roles, Marco was responsible for allocation strategy and management of the credit portfolio, financial planning, performance monitoring, and coordinating activities within the Lending and Structured Finance division.

Marco also gained internship experience at JP Morgan in 2006, where they worked as an Intern in the M&A - Consumer, Healthcare, and Retail Group. Additionally, they served as an Intern at Evince Management Consulting from October 2004 to August 2005, where they provided strategic consulting services for SMEs, conducting market surveys, sector studies, benchmarking, and preparation of pitch books and reports.

Marco Masotto has a strong educational background in business administration and management. Marco obtained a Master of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Università Bocconi, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Marco also participated in an exchange semester at Esade in 2005.

Prior to their Master's degree, Marco completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics at Università Bocconi from 2001 to 2004. During their undergraduate studies, they also engaged in an exchange semester at the University of Richmond in 2003.

Before their university education, Marco completed their high school education at ITCS G. Zappa Saronno, where they obtained a High School Diploma in Accounting from 1996 to 2001.
