Karen Lewis

Karen Lewis is an experienced human resources leader with a extensive background in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Currently serving as the Chief People Officer at Cardurion Pharmaceuticals since March 2025, Lewis previously held the same title at Apellis Pharmaceuticals from May 2020 to March 2025. Prior roles include Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Axcella and various HR leadership positions at Biogen and Bristol-Myers Squibb, where Lewis managed large-scale HR operations and talent acquisition initiatives. Lewis began a career in staffing at Kelly Scientific Resources and holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Rider University.
