Rob Assall

Rob Assall has a diverse work experience in the social care and regulatory field. Rob started in 1990 with various roles at Wirral Borough Council, including social work management and support for adults with disabilities. Rob then moved to Nottinghamshire County Council as a social work manager for child protection, assessment and care management, and emergency duty. From 2005 to 2008, they worked at the Commission for Social Care Inspection, where they held roles as a regulation manager and business relationship manager in the East Midlands. In 2008, they joined the Care Quality Commission as a compliance manager and later became a service inspector of local authorities. In 2014, they became the head of inspection for adult social care in the East Midlands. Rob also had a role as a seconded specialist adviser at Ofsted from 2020 to 2021. Throughout their career, Rob Assall has demonstrated a strong commitment to ensuring the quality and improvement of social care services.

Rob Assall completed their education with a Master's Degree in Public Service Management from Nottingham Trent University. Prior to that, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma and a Post Graduate Certificate in Public Service Management from the same university. Additionally, they hold a Post Qualification in Social Work from Liverpool John Moores University, and a Diploma in Social Work from the same institution.
