Mirelis Betances RD is an experienced dietitian with a comprehensive background in clinical nutrition and patient care. Currently serving as a Dietitian at Care Resource since November 2016, Mirelis assesses the nutritional needs of patients in a home care environment on a Per Diem basis. Prior roles include Lead Clinical Dietitian at Compass Group, where responsibilities encompassed managing the dietary department’s clinical functions, and Registered Dietitian at Health Care Services Group, overseeing nutrition care for multiple facilities. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Rhode Island College. Additionally, Mirelis has extensive experience in medical claims processing and customer service in the healthcare and financial sectors.
