Basab Rooj

Basab Rooj has been working at CARE since August 2009, currently holding the position of State Program Manager for Bihar & Jharkhand. Prior to this role, Basab worked as a Project Manager, coordinating with the State Government for IRS-related activities. With experience as a Program Officer, Basab facilitated training sessions for community volunteers and private providers in TB, established working relationships with RNTCP at various levels, and monitored program progress. With a background in Social Work from Calcutta University, Basab has also worked in various roles at CARE and other organizations, focusing on program management, NGO support, and health planning.
