Mohammed Albakkar

Mohammed Albakkar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in access and risk management, grants, and partnership coordination within humanitarian organizations. Currently serving as the Sr. Access & Risk Management Manager at CARE since December 2020, Mohammed previously held significant roles including Grants & Partnerships Manager at BONYAN NGO from December 2019 to November 2020, and Head of Mission Support for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) from September 2017 to September 2019. With a solid foundation in program operations and communication, Mohammed’s past positions include Operations Coordinator at shafak, Information Management Coordinator at Islamic Relief Worldwide, and Field Coordinator roles at both Syrian Arab Red Crescent and UOSSM. Mohammed holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Aleppo University and a Master's in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid from KALU Institute.
