Julie Downey

Julie Downey has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Julie started their career as a Physician at Jefferson County Medical Clinic in 1999 and then moved on to work at Ransom Memorial Hospital as a Physician from 2000 to 2002. Julie further enhanced their skills and knowledge by joining St Francis Health Care System as a Physician from 2002 to 2007. In 2006, Julie became a Physician at First Med Inc and stayed with the company until 2009. Julie then started working at CareATC as a Physician in 2009 and held various roles within the organization, including Regional Medical Director from 2021 to 2023. In 2022, they joined Rezilient Health as the Head of Primary Care for a short period of time. Currently, Julie holds the position of Zone Vice President - Medical at CareATC.

Julie Downey completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology, General at The University of Kansas from 1988 to 1992. Julie then pursued further education at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from 1992 to 1996. To gain practical experience, Julie completed an Internship and Residency program at Southern Colorado Family Medicine from 1996 to 1999.
