Robert Ashe

Robert Ashe, CPA, CA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles.

Robert is currently serving as the Director of Finance at Carebook Technologies Inc. since July 2022.

From 2018 to 2021, Robert worked at ecobee as an Accounting Manager, where they led a team and managed the full cycle accounting process. Robert also participated in various capital transactions, including a successful acquisition worth $770M USD.

Prior to that, they worked at PwC Canada from 2015 to 2018 as a Senior Associate in the Emerging Company Services practice. Here, they specialized in helping tech-focused companies present their financial performance to investors, and also served as an excel instructor for colleagues.

In 2013, Robert worked as a Summer Financial Analyst at IBM Canada, and in 2011, they had a brief role at Kott Lumber as Saw Shop. Robert also gained sales experience as a Sales Associate at Tommy & Lefebvre Warehouse in 2010.

Robert Ashe, CPA, CA completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting at McGill University - Desautels Faculty of Management from 2011 to 2015. In 2015, they also obtained a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Queen's University. In 2014, they studied Finance and Norwegian Culture at BI Norwegian Business School. Prior to their post-secondary education, from 2005 to 2011, Robert attended Ashbury College High School. Robert later obtained the CPA, CA certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) in August 2018.
