Katie McLaughlin Lcsw

Katie McLaughlin, LCSW, is a seasoned social worker with extensive experience in medical case management and support for vulnerable populations. Currently serving as a Care Manager at North Shore-LIJ CareConnect Insurance Company, Inc. since June 2014, Katie specializes in comprehensive medical case management for members of the Managed Long Term Care Plan. Prior to this role, Katie provided medical social work services at the Visiting Nurse Service of New York for eight years, assisting chronically-ill and home-bound patients. Katie's earlier experience includes serving as a Social Worker and Project Coordinator at the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, and as Assistant Director of Adult Day Services at the Service Program for Older People. Katie began the professional journey as a MSW Intern in various settings and holds a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Social Work from George Mason University.
