Elizabeth Monden, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

Elizabeth Monden, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Beginning in 1990, Monden worked at Orange County Department of Education in a human resources role before transitioning to Canon Business Machines, Inc. as an Assistant Manager of Human Resources. In this role, they successfully implemented a new market-based compensation program and managed a major HRIS upgrade, ensuring data integrity and zero errors.

In 2003, Monden joined Western Digital as a Senior Manager and Business Partner, followed by a role as a Human Resources Manager at Allergan, Inc. Elizabeth partnered with business leaders to provide strategic HR support, focusing on talent acquisition and development, training, organizational development, and employee relations.

Monden then moved on to Experian Consumer Services as the Director of Human Resources, where they provided HR consultation to business and technology leaders and played a crucial role in driving organizational effectiveness through talent acquisition and development, employee engagement, and leadership development.

From 2017 to 2021, Monden served as the Human Resources Director at Edwards Lifesciences, collaborating with the Chief Information Officer to develop and execute the Global Information Technology talent strategy. Elizabeth also coached executives, applied organizational design and coaching expertise, and fostered a culture of talent focus, performance, and accountability.

Currently, Monden works as a Human Resources Consultant, capitalizing on their vast experience and expertise.

Elizabeth Monden, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, completed their Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Southern California from 1985 to 1989. In addition to their degree, they obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute in December 2001 and the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in June 2015.
